Swiss Declare Science Day In Kalam's Honour.

Switzerland has declared May 26 is science day in honour of visiting president A.P.J Abdul Kalam.The swiss government,considering his vast expertise in science and technology,announced this following his arrival in Geneva on wednesday.Kalam is on a four-day state visit.

Switzerland considers the president as the father of India's missile programme.Kalam is the first indian head of state to visit Switzerland after a gap of more than 30 years.Former president V.V.Giri was the last high profile person to visit the country.
